Unrealistic ending. Good characters though.

I knew it. I knew it. I knew it.

And no, I didn't like that twist at all.

What I liked.
The overall story was very well done & really held my attention. I really felt for Kacey & all that she had been through.

Kacey was a great character, I really liked her as a heroine. I liked that the author made her strong and fierce and loyal.

I LOVED the surrounding characters, from the bouncers at the club, to Tanner, to the brilliant Storm & the AWESOME Livvie (I can't wait to read her story)

What I didn't like.
Trent.
Yep Trent.
And in not liking him it kinda ruined the story for me.
I never understood why Kacey dropped all her defenses for him.
Was it cause of his dimples and his rock hard abs???
If so I don't buy it cause in other areas of her life she never came across that shallow.
So therefore I never got invested in the love story which of course is a huge element in this book.
I didn't find him sweet or awesome or swoony or anything :(
And I guessed his secret pretty much straight away so I got why he was there I just didn't care :(

Apart from this I thought the writing was fantastic & will definitely read more by this author, especially [b:One Tiny Lie|17302495|One Tiny Lie (Ten Tiny Breaths, #2)|K.A. Tucker|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1365692893s/17302495.jpg|22603415] as it is Livie's story & I really loved her.

This book was quite a trip. Very emotional. I'm extremely curious what the second book is going to put me through.

I found this a really easy to read book that kept me wanting to know more anytime I had to put the book down. There’s some heavy themes dealt with in the book and some questionable decisions made by the main characters. It didn’t necessarily give me the ick but I also don’t know if I personally would make the same decisions in the end. Overall, good little read!

That was weird. I thought I would try read something a bit different, bit it was not for me. I didn't like the main character, I didn't like her actions or her choices and I did not like how it ended. I only finished it because I had to know how it would end. I didn't think it would be so predictable but it was. I had the ending figured out about half way through.
