and with this, my journey comes to an end. i won't lie to y'all and say i'm not devastated about this, because i am. i'm not even completely sure way, but i care about the whole harris lot a not normal amount. i loved getting some more time with them, and some of the characters i had already met thanks to the “main” brothers.
and speaking of brothers... gah. the plot twist in this was oh–so good. we love a little family drama!
i really enjoyed daphney and zander's dynamic as well, even though she is for sure better than me—had i had such an annoying neighbor, you would have seen me on national news. /hj so i got huge respect for her patience.
my favorite thing about this book though, is how much football there was in it. this is what sports romance should be, people! i basically only read these, so i know better than anyone else how more often than not these books are more romance than sport. “sweeper” wasn't like that. on the contrary, the balance between sport and romance was perfect. it was so nice to see!

Note: An ARC was provided by the author.

I had a feeling this book was going to hit me in the feels. I don't want to give the story away, so I'm trying to keep this review as spoiler-free as possible. Zander was in a difficult position, and maybe he could have handled things better, but my heart went out to him. I wouldn't know how to handle discovering what he did and in the midst of the loss of his beloved father at that. Zander and Daphney were quite a pair, and I think that she was exactly what he needed, and vice-versa. The role the Harris family plays in both their lives, especially in Zander's, was most certainly impactful, particularly, Booker (who was his teammate) and Vaughn (who was his team manager). Sweeper lived up to my lofty expectations and receives five stars. Dare I hope for more from this book universe?

Oh, these Harris brothers. Blow me away!! This is by far my favorite book, but then again I say that about all of Amy Daws' books. Perfect romance, comedy and a tiny bit of angst to make me read it all in one go.

Omg I absolutely love Amy daws books this made me want to go back and start from the beginning of her books. I love the world she’s created and all the intricate stories…
Blindsided is one of my favourites and Hayden’s story was touching.

Thanks once again for a excellent read X
