THIS TOOK FOREVER!! It got to the point where I had renewed it so many times at the library that I actually ran out of times I could renew it. I had to bring it it, check it in and then check it back out, and then renew THAT again.

The kindest thing I can say about this book is that I appreciated its fairly linear plot and the fact that it felt like an ending.
The rest of it was… a mess. The christian persecution was an insane curveball and really had no purpose other than being offputting and propoganda-y.

3.5 I’m guessing this is where the series originally ended! I feel like I’m being taken on an easy journey. Sure it’s not the best series but I’m enjoying it
