Excellent read! This book blended healing, pain, growth, sensuality into a great narrative. I love the parts about her invisibly disability as well! And audre… might be my favorite ever haha.

I felt like Tia killing off TY was totally unnecessary. I feel like Shane could’ve grown without that serial. Haven’t we heard enough of young traumatized Black boys making bad decisions that cost them their life?? That was the one serial I absolutely HATED!!

I liked it. It had a good storyline, genuinely didn’t always know where it was going. It was a fun read, and covered real world problems to some extent, so it felt like it mattered. I think it’s my version of a beach read, as someone who likes stories with a little more complexity, and gravitates toward characters with heavy histories.

Practically perfect. Hilarious, page-turning, romantic af, perfect amount of spice, intriguing, and mixes the joy in with the pain. Loved it.

that very mean bait-and-switch towards the end. 😝
