Cute. Love the inclusivity. Don’t love the repetitiveness. Also, a major pet peeve of mine is when characters say each other’s names out loud way too often. It was CONSTANT in this book. When have you ever had a conversation where you say the other person’s name every single time it’s your turn to talk? Little things like that were annoying, but ultimately, it was a sweet queer love story.

Love Anita Kelly's writing. This continues to provide tremendous lgbtqia+ rep along with providing a sweet heart warming story. As I read this series out of order, it was great finally getting to read about London and Dahlia's budding romance.

This was such a cute romance with a backdrop of a cooking show competition. Our first main character Dahlia just went through a divorce and has quit her job to be on the show. London is nonbinary and is on the show so they can start a nonprofit organization. The two connect pretty much immediately, which was a bit too insta love/lust for me. I loved the sweet moments and cute banter. I also loved how protective they both were of each other. The miscommunication trope reared it's ugly head a bit but overall I loved this story and it's characters!
