I really enjoyed this book! Actually I enjoyed it more then I thought I would. My Night Vale obsession is not as strong as it once was. One might say I'm no longer obsessed.

But this story was really good and interesting

Funny, insightful, random as hell. Everything that makes me love Night Vale and more. Such a good book. They really hit their stride with novel writing in the Night Vale style with this one. So excited for the next

Listeners of the Welcome to Night Vale podcast are used to hearing underlying themes about life, community, etc. This novel uses a similar method to discuss the intersection of science and religion, but this theme is much less subtle than normal. For most of the book, this works, but there's a couple of places where it's rocky. Overall, this book took me a little while to get into, but once I did it was pretty exciting. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone who isn't familiar with the podcast, though.
