I really enjoyed this installment of Geek Girl and am glad I continued with the series after the disappointment of book 3. Harriet is growing up and she made some new mistakes this book instead of just repeating the old ones.  There are moments where the second hand embarrassment made it difficult to read, but ultimately, I love this girl and who she is as a person.  I also liked the way the author kept some characters that aren't present during this storyline in the book.  Can't wait to read the next one!

This book was definitely the saddest out of the 4 books and my heart was really crushed slightly by some of the lines in this book.
I miss Nick too and when I was younger I think I completely forgot that Harriet made the decision she made out of love. And this book just solidified my assumption (which I now know is fact) that Harriet is an unreliable narrator but not in a bad way. More like she spins a story then casually drops information that alters everything you’ve read.
I wish we got to see and explore Nat and Toby more in this book, well in every book actually. I know so much about Harriet but not as much about her 2 closest friends.

This book is about new friendships based on a misunderstanding, betrayal, heartbreak, trying to become someone you’re not to be liked, and more

I definitely cried or almost cried and it was definitely a fun read.
