This was a great read, with some significant progress in Alina's relationship with the guys, which made me happy.
There's not much time spent at the academy, but I didn't mind it, as there were developments in other areas and I enjoyed reading those.
Alina received some answers she wasn't expecting, but there are still more questions that need answering. I can't wait for those!
The cliffhanger ending? I need the next one now, please.

Idk if it's because it's been a month or so since I finished the last book but it seemed like the angst (and the kink) were dialed up in this book (I mean in like comparison to the last book)! Whoo boy and that ending, can't wait for the last book (which I conveniently already have)
