I "know" about culture shock, but never truly considered how much identity is linked to culture. When you are stripped of all the familiar, it can be devastating - as we "know", but don't usually experience. Really interesting. Real accounts of living life in "foreignness" and the challenges of embracing it even when you are willing and eager. As mentioned in other reviews, this is well organized information, but the format can be a little tiring in that it is like a long line of short interviews.
