Overall it was good. I enjoyed it.
I liked it. Don’t love it. Thought it was okay but I loved the over all idea/plot. I just didn’t feel all the emotions with the characters.. like we should be mad at Lincoln but it came off as she was mad for a bit then moved on. I didn’t buy it. Or Alexander.. I wanted to feel sad when he told his story but I just didn’t feel it. It’s a sad story but I don’t know.. hard to explain.. maybe it a the writing?? I liked it but feel it could have been a little better to make it a 5/5.
Also I didn’t live the siblings. Hayes is an asshole.. which I think is the point to make him the villain but it makes me not want to read his book. Hudson and Kingston were better but didn’t live enough to “have to immediately pick up their books next”

It’s giving Edward Cullen meets Christian Gray meets mountain man. Forced proximity.

This is my first book by this author, and it literally blew me away. Her Grizzly didn’t see her coming, and the fact of his life was no one just loved him for him. I LOVED this book. It was grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity tropes, and so well written. I was entranced by this book!

Interesting title and cover... Blurb caught my eye. So this was my first by this author and I have to say ninety percent of this book bored me. I bought a paperback copy so I feel like I can be honest here. I read so many ARCs and this was one I actually bought. The ending was the only thing that saved this book. It wasn't until the last ten percent that I finally felt Alexander could feel anything for Jordan. I bought the next in the series as well so hopefully the next one is good.

Nothing like a trashy novel to get a breather from long serious books lol..
and I’m not sarcastic, I read it all despite how childish everyone is in this book.
