I enjoy monster of the week plots, but I feel like they really ought to keep them contained in one volume unless they would prefer to create monster cliffhangers. I like that Sakura is taking more initiative with the situation and I look forward to her developing both as a new person and as someone who's remembering themselves.

This might be my favorite volume so far. While lots is happening, the action is a little calmer, so there's more time for the characters to develop. I also really like the "fairy tale" story line running through the second half of the volume and I can't wait to see how it's resolved!
Also, the running gag of Fai's names for Kurogane and the way Mokona teases Kurogane are probably my favorite little bits running in the background.

Having gained a powerful ally in dealing with a despot, the group regains a feather and moves on to the next world. Turns out not all worlds have memory feathers in them. Seems the search for Sakura's memories will be even more of a needle-in-a-haystack challenge than previously thought.

Enjoying the different worlds the group go to! The variation is good thus far, and the dangers the group run into not all being solved by punching (or kicking) is appreciated. As much as I enjoy fight scenes, it'd get a bit repetitive if fighting was the only way for the group to solve their problems. Glad to see Sakura more in action, even if she does do the foolish thing and run off without yelling the house awake first.

The flashbacks that reveals
that Syaoran himself doesn't remember anything of his early childhood
makes the Sakura & Syaoran interactions more interesting to me.
Maybe Syaoran has his own people he's left behind by forgetting about them?
Onward to volume 5!

I wonder if it's possible for them to run into different versions of themselves?

Volume 3 of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle by CLAMP is where the consequences of Sakura's missing memories and Syaouran's bargain with Yûko begin to take shape.

Sakura has her first memory restored where Syaouran was present. She remembers her conversation but not him. It's like the Garfield Minus Garfield strip. Call it Syaouran minus Syaouran. Sakura notices the glitch in her memory and that causes even more discomfort.

This volume also introduces the idea that the feathers are powerful and valuable things. They are also things that have gone across all time and space.

They arrive in a world with a legend of a princess who kidnapped children after the death of her parents. Now the children are being kidnapped again and the villagers suspect her ghost. At the heart of the legend is one of Sakura's feathers which as been waiting for her for decades.

Pay attention to Sakura's ability to see the ghost princess. This ability will become more important as the series progresses. It will also help draw connections between Sakura and a similar character in xxxHolic.
