I like the stories bad Dumbledore‘s notes are interesting. Maybe a little too much namedropping..

I'm sorry to say, but I will not be blindly giving this book 5 stars because J.K Rowling, a wonderful writer put it out. Sure, the tales were cute and it worked well reminiscing about the old characters or other terms you became familiar with in her other books, but frankly, I am growing tired of all these new silly terms. The commentary given on each tale gets to be way too wordy and boring at times, so much that I skipped over parts just to get to the tales. Not to mention it has numerous footnotes, who puts footnotes in a book mainly targeted at kids? Learned master's degree level students have done away with them, but they're in this book! I am sadly disappointed by this book, it could have been so much better with more tales and less gab, in my opinion.

I initially had no interest in this, but then I noticed it contained notes from Albus Dumbledore, and that instantly sold me. As I began to read it, I felt like a teenage wizard all over again, just as I did 15 years ago.
