Aside from the burying of lgbtq+ characters, I really loved this book. I was truly hooked and simply needed answers more and more. Berry writes a lot of fully developed, complicated characters very well. I'll be reading more from her!

The Best Of Friends is a fantastic domestic thriller by Lucinda Berry! The audiobook is narrated by Amy Rubinate, Tara Sands, and Coleen Marlo.

This book started off with a bang, literally, and never let up!  You won’t see the twist coming in this one!
I LOVE Lucinda Berry!

Very emotional story line following 3 families, their sons best friends. The twist at the end genuinely shocked me. However, I do think the audiobook was hard to follow between all storyline and all of the characters.

not the semi ridiculous desperate housewives esque murder mystery drama i thought it would be. instead this was a lot more grounded in reality, and a lot more fucking depressing. probably better, then, than what i was expecting. but yeah, i don’t know, this made me really sad.
