3 1/2 stars. I would have bumped it up to 4 if it didn't have the typical misunderstanding toward the end where the H/H break up and are too prideful to apologize. This was way better than most cheesy romances though, and I will read the sequel.

I downloaded this free Kindle book a while back (actually, this is the first in a series and I think I got several, or most, of them free). I thought it was Christian fiction, but it's not. It is still very clean, and while a romance (and a bit much for me in spots, but not bad and not overly Harlequin-esque), it was still a good story. And I'm thinking some of these characters will continue into the next books. The books are set in a small town in Tennessee, Angel Ridge, and this particular ones follows the love story of the town librarian (from the good side of town) and a handyman (from up on the ridge, aka not the good side of town). Light and easy, although not my favorite book, still fairly enjoyable.

This was a very very very easy read nothing deep about this book but it was entertaining.

Sappy romance with a red-headed librarian as the main character? Of course I am gonna read this and like it regardless of the writing style and predictable plot! Plus it was free on my Kindle...
