I hated all the characters. All the men were misogynistic and Georgie was annoying. None of the characters had a personality they just had “things that had happened to them”. The sex scenes were awkward and had no build up not to mention there was more sexual tension between travis and steven. I officially DNFed when things started getting sexual at a children’s birthday party while george was in her clown get up. That was it for me. Also George being a clown was upsetting to say the least.

I loved these characters, even the side one (who have their own books too!!!). The struggles they had were so real, and the mistakes and victories were as well. While I didn’t enjoy having a 3rd act breakup, it did make sense so I can’t fault it too bad. And the spice!! Not kinky, but steamy.

Slightly a Sports Romance, Fake Dating, Brother’s BFF, 3 3/4 🔥

Once you get over your initial shock over the clown part, this turns into such a good read!! Idk if it's Tessa Bailey or the people who narrate her books but whenever I listen to one, I'm so hooked, it really becomes my nr. 1 priority.

This is brother's best friend at its finest especially because Travis quickly realizes how much cooler Georgie is than her brother 🤭

These two had the absolute cutest relationship and it was so hot at the same time 🥵 You should've seen my face during some of those lines haha

As another woman in her 20s who'll tell everyone how excited she is to have kids, I loved seeing that displayed in Georgie! So often we get kids in epilogues without the characters having exchanged one word about it but here it was an actual topic.

I couldn't really get on board with their girls club just yet because in the book they're constantly like "it's not just for hating men!!" but then they do do a lot of men hating there 😂 But we've got two more books about it so I'm hoping to love it more by the end!

Such a great series opener and looking forward to continuing <3

Great chemistry and a great ending, but a weird plot. Also, I hate the nickname “baby girl”! Especially since he said it like 50 times.

I didn’t want this book to end. I could read about Georgie and Travis forever. Tessa Bailey, if you’re reading this, please, I beg you, write more Georgie & Travis books. I’ll take an additional novella or a 500+ page novel. Whatever you think is best.
