Absolutely loved this book. This will be a book I will always recommend. And be one of those I wish I could read for the first time again. The roller coaster of emotions and the smile I had at the end. Thank you Aiden for this amazing book.

This book has my heart! The characters and rep were amazing. I did figure out part of the plot very quickly but personally it didn’t effect the emotion I had through the book!

Are you looking for a super cute lgbtq+ love story? For a story that has magic and witchy powers? For a story that has ghosts and paranormal activity? For a story that is atmospheric for this time of year?

THIS RIGHT HERE IS THE ONE! IT HAS EVERYTHING!

Cemetery Boys is the story of Yadriel, a trans brujo living in East LA, whilst he tries to prove to his traditional brujx family that he is a valid member of the community and that he should be accepted as a brujo.

This was an incredibly fun magical story with a lot of important elements about family, acceptance and open mindedness. Through this ghostly and magical story, Aiden Thomas delivers a very important message about being true to yourself and about accepting people for who they are.

I don’t really want to spoil this for anyone and I don’t think you should go into it knowing lots about the story, so I will leave my review short and sweet. Just please read this book.

God...what can I say about Yadriel Vélez Flores and Julian Diaz...

There's so much I wanna say about these boys and yet words just don't seem to suffice. This book, their story, has made me so inexplicably happy, and my heart still feels so full thinking about them. I cried during those last few beautiful chapters, and I know for a fact that this is a book I'll reread over and over again in the future.

Thank you Aiden Thomas for such a heartwarming, thrilling tale of young queer love. Thank you so much for bringing these boys to life and for sharing them with all of us. :)

the way im sobbing at the end because of how wholesome and amazing this whole book was.

it was a fantasy but also a coming of age. yads learned to be himself, to not let people silence his voice. he wanted to prove that he’s a brujo not only to his family but also to himself. i love him so much; the strength and empathy this boy has- i’m in absolute tears just thinking about it.

jules ;-; please protect him and give the boy a break. i know that aiden thomas recently clarified that yes- jules has adhd and that just makes it even better. he’s caring, kind, full of love and fun- i just want to feed him and keep him happy.

the best boys

I do not appreciate books where nothing happens for the first 75% of the book, and then all the action happens in the last ten chapters. So, this was not really for me.

The romance was really cute between Yadriel and Julian, though.
