I actually quite enjoyed this one. I think it’s kind of tied with the other one. I’m kind of mad. I read the amount of order but whatever here we are. I love that she was very badly and bouncy and fun even after her cheating ex fiancé. It was so cute when she met this guy and asked him to train her new dog and he again thought she was some pretty rich girl, I love how hard he fought his feelings until finally giving in. It was fun to hear his inner monologue of how pain he was when she’d say things, and she was oblivious to what she was doing to him. I love Colin in this too, and his dynamic of making fun of his roommate.  When her ex fiancé tried to get her back by being half naked when she came to collect her things, and both Dash and Cole showing up was hilarious. I don’t remember why they broke up but it was sad for sure and I remember when she thought he was oh that’s right they broke up because she was possibly going to move back to New York and then he was like what are we even doing and broke up with her to protect himself I guess. And then she went there realized she didn’t want to stay. Wanted to go back home to be close to her family and she called him and his sister picked up and pretended to be like another girl and insinuated that they were fucking. It was so funny when the truth came out and when Dash realized and was so mad at his sister was like what the fuck did you say to her loved it it was hilarious . But I really thought they were cute and he really would do anything for her and I loved how she finally got her dad to like understand that, even though he had a criminal past that he was a good person because she also had a similar past, but got away with it because her parents were rich. Anyway, loved it. Loved it really fun.

I loved Paige, she's cute, and has a sunshine personality. She's socially awkward, and frequently says the wrong thing. I can relate to that

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars

I had a lot of fun reading this book. Both the FMC and MMC really stood out to me as characters. And their romantic chemistry? Adorably perfect.🩷

I especially loved Paige as a FMC. She was 100% neurodivergent-coded, and I will die on this hill. Social cues and interactions went over her lovely girl head, making it hard for her to connect with others. I myself completely fell in love with her bubbly personality and passionate nature. I especially loved how unapologetically herself she was. It made me feel better about my own neurodivergency.

Dash as a MMC was also such a good character. The whole "reformed bad boy with a soft heart" thing was what initially drew me to this book. But he flipped the script on that character type. Turns out, he really isn't a bad boy. Like the pitbulls that are at his shelter, he may appear intimidating, but is anything but. Dash as a character is a sweetheart with low self-esteem. Paige brings out his confidence and pushes him to dream bigger. In turn, he helps Paige see the beauty in her uniqueness. They really just complete each other (along with Pumpkin the pittie as the cherry on top).😆🐶

What prevented me from marking this book a 5 star review was the fact that the characters were separated for the last 15% of the book because of a third-act break up. I understand that in context, the breakup was bound to happen. But I hated that the rest of the book was them not being a couple up until the last chapter and epilogue. It makes me sad that I can't enjoy my characters being happy up until the very end.

This won't deter me from reading the next book. I am so psyched to read Cole's story! Hopefully, it lives up to Dash's and Paige's! 🐥💕

Luna was so obnoxious she ruined the entire ending for me like god have you tried SHUTTING UP do the be quiet challenge. Would have been 4 stars if she had simply not been there

When paige called pumpkin her life partner i felt seen. I love my dog and not in the millennial cringe way where she’s my ✨ smol doggo (paige DID say doggo) bean fur baby ✨  but in the new wave troubling cringe way where she is a demon rat and i worship her and whenever im away from her for too long my eye starts twitching 🥰
