I think I liked the sequel better. Again, it's a quick read. I enjoyed this one and it's action, and lack of smoshie-gooey-love-ness

Pretty good, especially the last half. This one didn't keep my attention midway through, though, and I found myself putting it down for weeks at a time. Overall, it's a good book, and I will finish the series.

My dear Hardy, I have a feeling you are a cat person. Therefore, i instantly laaaaaaike you.

There's not much heroes I root for, not like Nya

I really enjoy these books. Nay is sarcastic and freakin' awesome. The book is non-stop action. The characters are great. I also enjoy that Nya knows what she does is bad. She actually has a conscious, and she has to make difficult decisions. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that she was racist. I know that builds into the fact that she is still finding herself, but I still don't like how she hates all Baseeri.

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

The cover is cool :)

Well, I think I enjoyed this book about just as much as I enjoyed the first one in the series. I will admit, I forget some of the things that were introduced in the first book, so I'm not sure if this one answered or explored what I was hoping to see from the first one. But I did enjoy the new twists and complications brought into this one.

I really love the world created in this series. This book takes you somewhere new, but it's still quite different than the real world. It picks up where it left off, where you're completely involved in the world. The plot that will bring about the third book was obvious to see, however, there were some new plot developments that will make you wonder and want to read the next one to find out how they play out.
