I’m not going to rate this one as it was required reading for some coursework and I don’t think it’s fair to give this a low rating when poetry is clearly not for me. I don’t think this is a ‘bad book’ in any way, I just don’t enjoy poetry as a whole.

Honestly, most of these poems are rubbish. Far too contemporary that they lose meaning, or just plain weird and unrelatable.

But there a some - just a handful, mind you - of gems:
The Lammas Hireling
Eat Me
A Minor Role
The New Bride (we don't study this one, but it's stunning)
The Furthest Distances I've Travelled
