I honestly thought I wouldn’t be able to finish this book just because of how long I put it off. It started off a little slow but a little before the halfway mark I was really invested in both Evelyn’s and Jenna’s storylines. I definitely cried a solid 5 times in the last half of the book and happy how it ended.

I would give it 3.5 ⭐️ just because it took me a while to get there

It seems like there are a lot of books with dual timelines right now, and it's not my favorite way to tell a story. I really enjoyed Jenna and her grandma, but wished the story would've been told in a somewhat different way. That being said, it was still a sweet story and I enjoyed the read.
