Insert *they had us in the first half, not gonna lie* gif.

This was so good until the dreaded misunderstanding bogged down the entire second half of the book. It's frustrating to read pages of this when a simple honest conversation could have solved everything.

I enjoyed it but it could have been much shorter.

I loved this, I thought it was hhhhhheavy on the romance, like there was literally nothing else going on lmao but whatever it was still very good. Very romantic. I wish there had been a little bit more work done to get these two over their obstacles. Like he just *decides* to be vulnerable and open himself to love? It's like ok but idk I don't get why. He loves her but he doesn't love her enough to tell her or to let her be herself and ride around on a mangy old horse... and then he just decides forget that. Another thing I didn't love is that her main personality trait is being a tomboy but she kinda veers into the not-like-other-girls trap of writing tomboys. All in all though very good. Very steamy.
