I was definitely NOT disappointed. This book was amazing just like the ones before it. The plot twist was definitely not expected but wowed me nonetheless. If you haven't read any of her books you definitely should. Especially with this series, it has turned me into a fan of hers. Hope you enjoy it as much or more than I did.

I loved Luke and his protectiveness in the first Colloway brothers novel Forsaking Gray, so I knew I would love him even harder in this one... Addy is one lucky girl to have former bad boy turned hard core lover doing everything in his power to worship her and make her fall in love. When I leave a 4 star review it means I really enjoyed the book but it won't be a FAVORITE that I will remember for a long time to come. I gave this one 4 stars for a few reasons... while I loved the book overall at the beginning it felt like Forsaking Gray all over again, too many pages saying the same thing over and over (dual POV) "I shouldn't fall for him" "I can't fall for her" "I'm not good enough for her" "What if he breaks my heart"... this was my same complaint with FG - the repetitiveness during the first half. Also wished the epilogue would have not ended the same way FG did too (spoiler alert) He proposed during the Epilogue just like Gray did. However, I still loved Luke and Addy and the author has such an elegant way with words and the style of her writing I really enjoyed. One last note, I really thought during Luke's absolution I was going to get an even deeper look into his past but I feel the author only skimmed the surface of stories that Luke could have told about his past... too much time spent on the aforementioned inner dialogue.

A little too insta-love for my tastes. Especially because the beginning made it very clear they weren’t feeling anything big for each other only for the next page to say they’ve always been in love or some shit.
