I just couldn't read this book. I loved the world, but the storyline was too predictable, too Mary Sue, and the characters were simple. As in the 'not intelligent' kind of simple. It's a pity, because from the first 15-20% of the book I had high hopes, but rather than improve, it went downhill. And downhill. And downhill some more. DNF at 34%.

Absolutely Brilliant! I loved this book, I've not read anything as quick in a long time, I cannot wait to pick up the sequal and get it read.
