3.5. wasn’t the biggest fan of the reveal but i was surprised and it made me go back and look at the whole book in a different way. i think alice feeney pulled something really cool off, it just wasn’t my favorite based on personal preferences.

Well, that was kind of disappointing. And about 75 pages too long.

Spoiler Wow!

Part murder-mystery. Part ghost story. Part messed up family dynamics.

I knew something was up with the narrator, and while I saw a part of the plot a mile away, I wasn't quite expecting the rest of it.

I will say that the family is really really a messed up bunch of selfish people.

The two characters who I thought were redeemable maybe weren't as good as I thought.

Also, I do have questions. Lots of them.

But it was a very entertaining read with lots of good quotes. Highly recommended.
