More like a 3.5
I read these books in 2 days, no matter what math says. Started it in December one day, put it down, and then picked it up and finished it in January. I stayed up late reading this one, eager to find out what was going on. Let's start with the flaws.
I don't get it. Why did Tommy do it? It's not like he had a freaking motive...I think. I read this in about four hours, so I may have skimmed some info. But, seriously? My second flaw was Adam. It seemed like Laurie was just making him rude, while he was so sweet in the other books, so Camelia would end up with Ben. Adam was my favorite character, and then in this book his personality changed completely.
And, this book lacked the suspense of the last books, but I cannot judge this book by the others, because that would break my reviewing rules, but I'm still going to throw it out there. It seemed like Misery was just there to be the one stalker there is in every book. And this lacked the chills.
Everything else was good, and even though it would be good to give it a five or a three, I can't. These books are an obsession, and I liked the ending of it. Nuff said.

This last one may very well have been my favorite! I would give it 4.5 stars just because this was the first one I had kind of figured out what was going on before the ending! Like Nicholle I was disappointed that there was so much Adam and not enough Ben but that worked itself out in the end! I also really LOVED the twist in the beginning. I love when a series last book is just as good as the previous ones. This series was really fun I'm kind of bummed it's over. This may be one for Joyce and Maggie! Kinda reminded me of the Wake series. Worth the wait =)!

A good closure for the series. I'm glad things ended the way I wanted them too :) I'll admit, I'll miss the characters.

Camelia just frustrated the hell out of me. And Wes was acting oddly out of character in the middle half of this book.
Good plot though as always

Well that was a bust. I was hoping that all of these books would surmise to mean something truly important at the conclusion of this series. It was a lot of mystery and build up all to lead to nothing? I figured there HAD to be a reason why Camelia encountered so many insane people? Or maybe an explanation for how Camelia and Ben met each other? What about Adam? No further story about her mother? This series had the potential to be so good but it plateaued and did not pick up. I feel like, why even have read it? It was essentially the same book over and over and over with no character development whatsoever.

Good ending. Not my favorite of the bunch. Loved the family drama twist!
