Quite frankly, I don't even remember requesting this from the library, but apparently I did so then of course I had to read it. It was an easy enough read, with some interesting information. There were some things I learned, like Rhode Island wanted nothing to do with the Constitution. There were some things I knew, like the war permanently damaged Ben Franklin's relationship with his son. There were some things I remembered that I had forgotten, like Shay's Rebellion and the Whiskey Rebellion. Much like Caesar, I learned, I knew, I remembered.

The information is interesting but it’s a slow read.

Not a bad, I enjoyed it. Most of the information in there I already knew. I did learn new information about the lone ranger.

I like how this was written. It wasn't too hard to follow along on audiobook, but I wish I had an ebook or a physical copy to go with either way.

This doesn't cover everything, but the things it does are explained well. It's even slightly funny in parts which I wasn't expecting.

All in all, really cool book.
