“Baby, I have no choice but to love you—you’re my ‘kick.’” He flashes me a beautiful smile. “Don’t ever thank me for loving you.” “Loving you is what I was born to do.”
Aaahhh *ovaries explodes*
Ryan Ulysses Morgan aka Rum Cake, Captain Morgan, Bacardi, Rum Jungle and so on is such an awesome character.
The whole Morgan family is awesome!
And Tessa, she is something fierce. I understand from where she comes but guuurrrl Ryan would die before he hurts you.
Thank god she came to her senses otherwise I'd no other choice as to slap some sense into her

Cute but way to insta love/lust for me. Also Ryan was coming on waaaay to strong haha
Also all the nicknames for the family members were very confusing at the beginning! Haha
Overall cute but forgettable

Where can I find my own Captain??!!
Start to finish this book has it all! Love, fate, humor, spice, and everything else!
These characters were so well written I felt like I was watching them in front of me. I feel like I know them personally and understand their wants and needs as well as their flaws. It makes me wish they were real so bad because I’d love nothing more than to know them!
The love I have for the Morgan Mafia is beyond words! I would give anything to be apart of that family!!
Lauren Rowe wrote an incredible book that’ll make you believe in fate if you haven’t before!!

3 1/2 stars
This book is 3 1/2 stars for one reason, and one reason only.
I couldn’t stand the heroine Tessa. She started out nice enough, but this book was just a complete case of it’s me not you.
Lauren Rowe is the queen of insta love done correctly.
This book is Love to Hate to Love. I enjoyed the misunderstanding at the beginning, but Tessa quickly became annoying by not allowing the hero Ryan “Captain” to explain himself.
I grew to completely hate Tessa, and It makes me really sad that I did, because I loved Ryan so much.
I can’t wait to read the next story though!
