My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

I was so excited to get my hands on this book! I really loved Nikki Sloane's other college romance The Rivalry, and I was happy to see her write another college romance--albeit one that is much, MUCH spicier.

The Frat Boy is book 4 in the Nashville Neighborhood series, but each book can be read as a stand-alone.

Colin and Madison were both taking part in Greek Week competitions when cheating accusations were thrown, a mud fight was started, and both ended up getting kicked out of their respective houses. Madison was estranged from her parents, and Colin cannot let his parents know that he lost his housing for reasons so they both desperately need to figure out a new place to live fast.

Madison ended up answering an ad for a job that will provide housing and a steady income. But, the job is starring in adult films and she has to audition first. And guest who her partner was for her audition? Colin! Of course!

This book was SPICY--way spicier than the romances I typically reach for, but it's Nikki Sloane and I always make an exception for her.

Colin and Madison's job was to make adult films and there were other people staying in the house too so there were sex scenes with multiple partners (FFM, MFFM, MFM), which usually I'm not into. However, Colin and Madison's chemistry was so electric and Nikki Sloane wrote the sex scenes so perfectly that there was a distinction between the sex scenes with them performing with other people (which was just fun time and a job), and the sex scenes with them together (which was more special and electric). And I lived for those scenes with both of them involved, especially because in the beginning they couldn't stand each other--I'm a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers with forced proximity, which this book basically is.

If you've read Nikki Sloane before, you know you're in for a good time! If you haven't, The Frat Boy is a good intro to her brand of spice.

The Roommate meets college life.

Ok, I’ll admit it: this was my first Nikki Sloane book. I’m incredibly ashamed of this, and I will be fixing this immediately and reading everything she’s ever written, but for now, I’m just going to gush about this one.

Because Oh. My. God.

This might be one of the hottest books I’ve read to date.

Lies and rivalries result in Madison and Colin both getting kicked out of their greek housing in college, and with few choices left, they both end up at a house off campus designed to create adult films. While nervous, Madison is excited to explore this part of her sexuality, but the last thing she expects is for her nemesis to be her scene partner for her audition.

The chemistry between these two is incredible, and the re-defining of relationships, love, and partnerships is enlightening. I truly loved the shift in Madison, as well as the growth Colin went through.

This book was pure fire and I cannot wait to read more by Sloane. If you need a hot as hell book, seriously look no further. I’m obsessed with it and you will be too.

The Frat Boy is the fourth book in the Nashville Neighborhood series by Nikki Sloane. This is my first book by this author. A member of my book club chose this book as their choice of traveling book. I’m not sure I would have picked it up; otherwise, I would have missed out. I really enjoyed Nikki’s writing style and will pick up the other books in this series. The Frat Boy can be read as a standalone.

The Frat Boy is a dual PoV, enemies to lovers, college romance. The two main characters are Colin and Madison. Due to a muddy incident, they were both kicked out of their fraternity/sorority. Neither one of them having anywhere else to go happened to respond to the same ad for a job audition and a possible place to live. When they both arrive, they are not happy to see each other and are forced to work together because they have no other options.

This book is packed full of very spicy fantasies and is super hot. While the book is spicy as heck, there is actually a plot! Whaaaat?! I know, right?! The storyline is excellent. Not only do we have enemies to lovers, but we also have found family and close proximity. The spicy scenes are tastefully done. The banter in this book is hilarious and had me cracking up. The tension and chemistry between Colin and Mads was palpable. The supporting characters are fantastic and add so much to the storyline. They weren’t there just for show.

I look forward to reading this author's other books in the Nashville Neighborhood Series and more.

These books just get hotter and hotter!

Listen, if you don’t already know, let me tell you, when @fitteacherrachel recommends a book, just do yourself a favor and read it. I had never heard of Nikki Sloane before Rachel told us to read Frat Boy, which is the fourth book in her interconnected series of standalones. You definitely do not need to read the first three books in this series to enjoy Frat Boy, but there are definitely crossover side characters that will make your experience even better!

Colin and Madison are Greek life rivals, whose lives take a turn after a messy situation. In order to get their lives back on track they venture into a world not intended for the shy or repressed. Being a part of this world has opened their eyes to so many things, including each other.

This story is SPICY, I mean it just might melt your kindle. But there is more to it than that, this one also has emotional growth and maturity that rounds everything out beautifully. I am quickly becoming a Nikki Sloane fan, I just can’t get enough!
