I miss Harry, and stories like this are why. Is it high literature? Of course not. But it is good storytelling, with an imperfect hero. It helps that even with all the monsters in Harry's world, it still has the kind of magic I wish did really exist.

Funny short story about a wizard protecting  a son of Bigfoot and other complexities like the feeling in love with a vampire and being attached by black magic. Good funny and reflective sorry read with good feels

This wasn't as fun as Side Jobs, but it was fairly interesting. Though that last story somehow made me a big uncomfortable - totally wasn't expecting THAT scene. Gee willikers.

Fun little short story, curious about the logistics! I think this selection is my favourite, I hope we catch up with Bigfoot again one day

Fast, fun Dresden reads. Not as dark as parts of the series gets, which was a nice change of pace.

Always a great storyteller, that Butcher. My favorite part of finishing a book is when my husband sarcastically tries to guess things about it (I read on a Kindle so he can't see the covers). This time when he said "So... Did the dragon win?" I got to reply "Bigfoot beat the vampires with the help of Chicagos only Wizard PI" :)
