It’s was a great story great characters. It’s was entertaining enough(although I would of like more drama with the ex) I got all gooey with the little girl and kittens. It was nice read. If you want an easy read with a little thrill this is for you.

I had a hard time with this book at the beginning, I found it somewhat repetitive as we had the same events visited by both MCs and things happened or were said that seemed contradictory.
But I'm glad I persevered because this was a sweet romance with a smidgen of angst.
I really liked Greg. He had a big heart but thanks to his upbringing he doesn't think he's good enough.
Otto swung wildly between super empathic and TSTL. There were moments with his ex that I just wanted to shout at him.
Overall an enjoyable read.

There was A Lot™️ going on at the end there but at the end of the day it was the quick, fluffy read I needed it to be.

That was so beyond adorable. I'll definitely be reading more of this series. So sweet and heartfelt. Love love love. (WAIT. THERE AREN'T ANYMORE BOOKS IN THE SERIES YET?! *sobs quietly*)

Trusting the Elements is the first book is Elle’s new series, spinning off from Accidental Roots. Otto, our ever intrepid erotic store owner is contemplating opening a second location in Westfort. On his way there, he meets Greg in interesting circumstances and then finds him again.
Both men are intrigued by the other and find ways to find their way back to each other.
This book was definitely lighter than Elle’s other works, which is more action-y suspense. But Otto is someone who definitely needed a story. I really enjoyed reading the book. It was sweet and funny. I was enthralled from the beginning, wanting to know more about the town, Greg the kite flyer and various other characters from this little town.
If you like insta-love, sweet heat and adorable kittens, read this book. You’ll sigh your way through it.
Received an ARC for my honest review.
