I wanted to give myself a couple days to gather my thoughts before reviewing this book, but they still aren’t gathered. I don’t think I’ll be able to ever give an objective review for this book because I’m just so emotionally invested in it. The ending absolutely wrecked me. Honestly the whole 2nd half of the book did. I just love these characters so so much and I think this is one of my favorite books of all time now. The feelings I felt when I finished and closed the book is the reason I love reading

I finally finished my reread of The Infernal Devices!

I loved it so much more the second time round, especially knowing the events that happen in The Mortal Instruments. I must admit, this is not my favourite of the trilogy, but I do think it is a really good instalment, and a really good finale. I’m so happy with the way the story ended (yes, I cant really complain about Jem either, can’t I?). I love Tessa and Will, and I will miss them all terribly. Now onto my reread of TMI!!

A full series of you will be going live on my blog at the end of the week.

This book was amazing as the rest of the trilogy was before it. It kept me engaged the whole time and never left me bored. I LOVED the ending sooooo much and can’t wait to read more from this universe!

WOW what an ending! On the one hand, it was immensely satisfying, and on the other I rolled my eyes as to how it could have been wrapped up with such a pretty little bow. I realize I've come to expect imperfection with mixed emotions from trilogy/series endings, yet this provided more closure than expected. Great read, would recommend for fans of fantasy and romance.

The love I feel for the characters between the pages of TID is startling, I cried so many tears reading Clockwork Princess, to the point where I had to put the book down and step away for a moment (just short of putting the book in the freezer, like Joey does Little Women) Such a fantastic trilogy within the world of Shaowhunters.
