THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!!!! It’s a gay slowburn romance with the added bonus of being post-apocalyptic. The vibes are just so good and the humour is perfect.

This was a great post apocalyptic book. Jamie and Andrew are very lovable characters. The pace of the book is super slow even in a post covid-type illness kills everyone world and the southern USA stays bad even after 87% of the world’s population dies. 100% worth a read. I hope there’s a sequel.

A story about two boys falling in love and trying to become better in a post-apocalyptic setting (no zombies, unfortunately for me). I ended up crying myself to sleep after the roller-coaster of those last 100 pages lol it was worth it because the story was funny, beautiful and hopeful. It provides a realistic but hopeful (vs the bleak view of other stories) interpretation of a world destroyed by a pandemic and the characters are lovely and complex.

I absolutely loved this book. It was so sweet, even in the darkest parts I still felt hope for the characters and for humanity.

I pretty much can’t fault this. I wish the characters were a little older but that’s a me thing.

For once the pop culture references didn’t annoy me! It actually felt pretty realistic for teenage boys to use them as a coping mechanism in this setting.

This was tense yet so heartwarming and now I’m feeling gay and emotional. It had some really good messages about hope, good people, shitty governments in pandemics, and love.
