Incredible. Sure, somewhat redundant. But the messages and learning is so important for women. Our bodies are all normal. We each have accelerators and breaks. A truly feminist novel that proves women’s sexuality deserves more research and that as women;
Our sexuality is groundbreaking.

Very good for someone who feels shame and discomfort with sex or the idea of sex. It’s science based and takes a good pace to unlock different aspects that usually seem so scary, and helps to flip the narrative from scary to exciting.

Just fantastic. Tears down deeply ingrained myths about sexuality, gives info and tools needed to improve your sex life, and personally I learned things I had NO idea I didn't know about my own physical self. This book falls into the category of "basically everyone should read this". Highly recommend! One caveat: can be a bit long winded - the author lots of words to describe things.

I read this book over the course of 1.5 years. Each time I picked it up, it brought up new ideas and old reminders. How nice it is to return to a book that tells you everyone is normal, everyone is unique, and everyone's needs and feelings matter. So affirming! My only complaint is that Emily has a tendency to replace jargon with a metaphor, such as "accelerator," which when used in a sentence can still be as confusing as the initial piece of jargon.

This book contains a lot of great information that I think would be beneficial for any reader. This books emphasizes that all bodies are normal and that desire is also normal. This book does talk about SA so know that before reading this so you can be prepared. The writing is very dry and this comes off very much like a text book so I was only able to listen for about an hour at a time. I believe it's important that this comes off as a text book because much of the information presented is based on science. I recommend to all readers.

Great book! Just have more things (fantasy) I'd rather read.
