Neil Gaiman seems to be a hard author for me to enjoy. On screen his tales are some of my favourite but his books just drag on. I enjoyed American Gods but I couldn't get through this, Stardust or Nevermore. I think it might be time for me to give up of Gaiman's books and only watch his screen adaptations.
