I was in the mood for something moody, and this is definitely that… this has turned into a love to hate kind of thing. A car wreck you can’t look away from. All the same qualms as the first, trying to be way too cerebral, but at least this one was *somewhat* more action-y? I guess I’ll have to see how it ends now. Sigh.

The book started a little slow but picked up towards the middle. I will never get over Olivie’s ability to create such a cool world! There were definitely some moments I was shocked at what came next and I am excited to continue this series. Her writing is some of my favorite!! Not for you if you don’t like deep character exploration and would prefer just plot.
