This was really cute. We have mates, aliens, and fluff with plot!
You can read book 2 separately so I’d like to start with that, I didn’t read book 1. The cover is amazing.
Samantha goes to this planet to escape her sad life behind. She struggles to fit in and literally gets trampled on. Now our main alien Bae comes in and plucks her off the streets because…they’re mates.
The world-building is decent but the characters are where this story shines. Our Alien Bae has a dark past but is cocky and lovable. With a great crew. The sex was great. Consensual King here, and the love doesn’t happen within the first few chapters. We get our cake and eat it too!
Samantha goes from self-loathing to “I can do this”!
You do get some alien peen, and tail sex. Please check out the authors website where they show said peen in their bonus material 18+
