Die Geschichte und ihre Hintergründe sind bewegend. Ich bin mir sicher, dass es wichtig ist, das Volk der Sami bekannter zu machen- die Kultur nicht verebben zu lassen und durch das westliche zu erdrücken.
Trotzdem habe ich mich durch das Buch gekämpft. Die letzen 30 Seiten waren gut, weil endlich was neues passiert ist. Immer und immer die gleichen Szenen und während das sicherlich der Realität entspricht finde ich es literarisch nicht angenehm.
Thematisch also wichtig und gut recherchiert und beschrieben, literarisch war das Buch aber nicht mein Fall.
Deswegen 3/5.
