I just didn’t care. I didn’t dislike any of the characters really, but I didn’t feel the chemistry between Shane and the love interest, and I didn’t have enough feelings about them to root for them or anything. This was a bit strange and I think could’ve been executed better or had a better overall message. It’s hard to talk about this one big thing without spoiling, but I’ll just say that I didn’t think it was very fair! And leave it at that for now.

I related to this book on a scary level. I met my first boyfriend when I was in England on a studying trip. It was only two weeks and I was fourteen, but other than that, pretty similar. Also my crazy obsession with him for the next few years. Heck, I even have the great boyfriend now and occasionally still think about him. So yeah. Thanks for reminding me once again.
Shane’s clumsiness was kinda obnoxious, but other than that I liked her. Also I liked Pilot a lot, even though he’s kind of a jerk.

One of my absolute favorite books. I am a college sophomore that doesn’t like putting myself out there and was able to relate to the main character. Please please read this book!

Suena atrapante, ¿no?

I was really excited for this book because the premise sounded so cute! However, I ended up being disappointed with the execution. It definitely felt like a debut novel in terms of the cringey dialogue and self-insert main character and could have used more work in those respects. Overall, I still found the story itself to be cute and heart-warming, I just wish the execution were a little better.

I was about to walk away from this book halfway through, but the magical twist pulled me back in! This one was fun to listen to via audiobook but not super memorable.

DNF @ 42%.

I really wanted to like this but it was just so cringey.
I went to London/Wales when I was 21 for a class and reading this made me look back and realize I was way more mature then I ever thought because compared to this MC, my maturity level was off the charts. She. is. STUPID. who knocks their chair over every time they get up? or unknowingly slams their glass down? or thinks walking to the grocery store with someone is a DATE. .

Like I said, I really wanted to like this because I follow the author on SM. but I can't do it. Life is to short to read books you don't like with a towering TBR pile of books you will like.
