This was a whole lot more gruesome and gritty than the show. The art was really cool (the opening credits of the show). I enjoyed a different side to the story.

This was so much fun and so delightfully grim at the same time. Cannibal witches, necromancy, and satanic rituals gave this volume just the right level of creep, while the whole thing retains a certain tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. I loved it.

I use to watch Sabrina the teenage witch when I was little. You know this one:

Well forget all that. This is the horror version of that. Witches are pretty dark and they like it.

Chilling adventures indeed.

As with every graphic novel with a tv/movie adaption I’m always shocked by the differences. I shouldn’t be anymore though. I read this after watching the Netflix adaption, and as expected, the graphic novel shows us the true, darker direction that the original writer wanted to go.
