Meh. There are a lot of loose ends, and the ending felt abrupt and quite unsatisfying. Also, I'm not sure Riker can be called a "Beast". Caged, yes, he was in a prison, but Beast? Nope.

Another new series from Honey Phillips...and I'm in! I love Honey's books and this one was good.

Riker's cinnamon roll personality was a surprise. I was expecting much more gruff and unlikable. I also liked the "friend" Amanda made. I'm really curious about Book 2 because those events sound like a set-up for failure from the start.
I'm holding out hope for a book about S'quent.

Sci-fi, prison break, and sexy romance…
The story is not so new, but the storytelling draws you into Amanda and Ryker’s tale. So many elements I like enrich this tale, can’t wait for the next installment.

More adventures than i expected but it felt like it ended on a cliffhanger more than a full resolution but good nonetheless!
