This was a very genuine memoir and I’m glad I listened to Tiffany read it. Her voice bring a lot to the story.

Points off for phobia of course

Massive TW for ableism - TLDR; don't read this ableist trash.

The first couple of chapters where she was doing hilariously dark bits about her awful childhood and getting satisfying revenge on a horrible boyfriend were great. And then I hit the chapter called 'Roscoe the Handicapped Angel'...

I mean, where to even start?! Handicapped? I mean this book is from like 2017/18. But then it got so, so much worse. She talks about being repulsed by this guy's disability in detail, and the punchline isn't that she was a shitty person and she learnt how wrong she was, it's that he thought she was super hot. And then they banged and she dumped him because he was disabled. And then he disappeared from the group home he was living in and nobody knew what happened to him?!??! And then she started using it as a comedy bit while saying he must have been an angel sent for her. Because what other function could a disabled person serve? Never mind that she apparently caused him to leave his friends and job and life and end up nobody knows where? And then put it in a book with no mention of having changed his name?!

Apparently this is a bit she's repeated in interviews and everyone has laughed uproariously at and I just... I had to get my partner to read a bit of it because I started wondering if I was being oversensitive, and he started shaking with rage and slammed the book into the recycling box because he didn't want it on the shelf, so clearly he doesn't have the internalised ableism I do!

Oh also it turns out this book was co-written with Tucker Max, former pick up artist style 'writer' and all round waste of skin, which might explain the nasty, edgelord tone from this chapter onwards...

Anyway, basically, do yourself a favour and don't read it, especially if you're disabled and don't want to feel like taking a shower afterwards. God knows, none of us have the spoons for that!
