Despentes als Meisterin der Verheiratung von Absurdität und Banalen fliegt mit ihren Leserinnen durch diese Geschichte und die Emotionen ihrer Charaktere, mit denen man fühlt, obwohl man sie nicht all zu selten auch von ganzem Herzen verabscheut.
Einen Stern Abzug gab es von mir nur, weil das Ende des Romans (ähnlich wie das von Subutex 3) für mich schwierig mit der wirklichen Meisterhaftigkeit der restlichen Geschichte vereinbar war. Ich weiss, es gehört zu despentes'schen Geschichten, aber auch wenn ich sie von ganzem Herzen liebe, tue ich mich mit den letzten 10 bis 20 Seiten immer schwer.

A very interesting approach...Though the cover will make you think this is a detective novel, it really isn't. This is a psychological dive through the female auto destruction system., See their lives, so vain you are afraid to consider it life at all, wish so badly to throw it all to nothing, and then scatter these ideas to the wind, and wait for the storm. Incredibly impressed...
