This little novella packs plenty of punch. A short, satisfying revenge thriller. With crisp, fast-paced writing, this story really moved. Close to 75 pages follow the actions of a grieving husband/father on the hunt to give a world of pain and payback to the man that killed his wife and daughter. Charlie Green is a frantic man who has nothing left to lose because now he has nothing left to live for. But will he be able to accept the truth once he tracks down all the facts? If you like hard case crime reads, you’re sure to love this one. I certainly did. Well done, Mr. Vaughn. I’ll drink to this one. Cheers.
