2'5*.

Aunque ha sido fácil y entretenido de leer, la resolución final del caso me ha parecido, aunque con sentido, un poco sacada de la manga. Pero para pasar el rato y leer algo fresco, ágil y sencillo, es el libro perfecto.

Mary Higgins Clark has been a favorite author since I discovered Loves Music, Loves to Dance in high school. I've read all of her books and eagerly await the new one each year. This book was fantastic up until the very last few pages. True to her form she kept me on the edge of my seat regardless of the fact that her stories always turn out okay (and I know that while I'm reading) I still get panicked during intense scenes. I wouldn't say that the mystery in this one was hard to figure out but it was still a fun read, my only gripe is that I couldn't handle the cliche cheesiness that the book ended on (literally the last 5 pages or so), for that I bumped my rating to 4 stars.

It was a very quick, easy read. The story draws you in so that you have a sense of urgency to finish this book.

Ah yes. Let's make the person who barely knows her be the killer and have a motive that's appallingly nonexistent. Kindergarteners have had more sophisticated temper tantrums than this guy.

This book was quite mediocre. I liked it but it was nothing special...
The language was very fluid so it wasn't tough to read but there were some boring parts that, in my opinion, were useless and could have been omitted.
I read this book because I had read [b:I've Got You Under My Skin|18143968|I've Got You Under My Skin (Under Suspicion, #1)|Mary Higgins Clark|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1397768065s/18143968.jpg|25491291] and I liked the idea of the format (the TV show based on unsolved mysteries) but in this case the development of the story was veery slow. The solution of the case was explained in one page in the last 20 pages and I would have preferred it to be explained more and with more details.
At the end there was suspense but it wasn't surprising (
SpoilerIt was obvious that Laurie wouldn't die!
).
