It was long time ago, I read the The Troublemaker Next Door. I remember I do not like it at all and shelved it under DNF. So when I read many good positive review on How to Handle a Heartbreaker, I decided to give it a chance.

To my surprise I do enjoy this book very much. It is meant to be light and funny. It would be good if it is shorten a bit. I found it too dragging with many unnecessary plot. Abby is suppose to be shy and sexy heroine. But she changes into wild and sexy heroine without explanation. I also think that the people reaction towards Abby is romance writer is OTT.

Aside of those that is lacking, the rest of the book is fine. Easy listening during long boring office hour.

I recently stumbled upon Marie Harte with her "All I want for Halloween" book. I really enjoyed that so decided to check into her others. I kind of went out of order at first grabbing the Story about JT and Hope in "The Only Thing" since I started backwards I pretty much know who ends up with who and sometimes that sways me from going back to read in order. However I am glad that I did. Loved Maddie and Flynn's story in "The Troublemaker Next Door" and now I just finished "How to Handle a Heart breaker" and this is my favorite. I absolutely loved it. Loved the steamy sex of course, who wouldn't but I loved the story just as much. She a few tears a few times due to Brody's past and the complications between he and Abby at times. You just wanted to reach in a smack him but hug him at the same time. Now on to Cam and Vanessa.

The family is good. I wanted to like this more but the women in the book make fun of another woman’s foot size? Almost nonstop. Healing from abusive, sex-negative ex, negative body talk, shitty and abusive families.

Warning for impending parental divorce, drug and alcohol use, dead mom, religious superiority.
