A really fun read. Took me a bit to get into because I don't usually read books in German, but once I was in I was locked in. Witty banter, funny narration, terrible monsters and monsters posing as men, a child protagonist surrounded by adults who are questioning whether she should even be involved- with the life threatening bits and violence and all that.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself reading this, liked the twist at the end and am looking forward to reading more from this series.

This book contains some of the most disturbing cosmic horror since H.P. Lovecraft. Also, people get turned inside out. You know, for kids!
