My only complaints about this book are that it's too real and I wish there was more of it (and great news! There is a second volume!).
The art in this book is phenomenal. I love the use of color and I'm deeply impressed by how much world building and story goes on in the background of the panels. I feel like I could look at and discuss the art and themes of this book for hours. I did discuss it with a book club, and everyone at the table felt like it connected to their personal experiences.
A frighteningly realistic hyperbole that becomes less exaggerated every year

I've been trying to get my hands on some single issues of this for AGES but every comic shop I go into is sold out (admittedly, I don't go into too many comic shops, but still). And I'm not super excited about digital comics yet so I was holding out for the trade. I loved the retro feeling sci-fi vibe of the art, and the story is fascinating so far. It's also hard to read in spots, and reminds me of the feelings that The Handmaid's Tale evokes. I really want to read more, so I may actually break down and start reading it digitally. Also I LOVE LOVE LOVE Penny the most.

Très belle découverte que j'avais hâte de lire enfin ! L'histoire se comprend aisément et on commence à approcher de plus près chaque personnage.. lorsque le pire arrive !
