Whilst the first books from Hades' perspective felt like a (slightly) less childish version of Persephone's books and added more value through actually giving information on what was going on,
this one felt like filler. On the one hand, important plot that had been told in Perspehone's book was completely left out which led to weird jumps. On the other hand, apart from a but on Dionysus the book didn't give more information that the reader wouldn't have had from just Persephone's book.

And the usual annoying thing with these books: why talk or actually solve problems when they could just have s3x.

The penultimate book in the Hades X Persephone series and the war is starting to unfold. This book not only has Hades perspective, but also Dionysius and Thesus. While jarring at first, it made the story that much richer.
In both this book and the fifth one (Persephone's perspective of these events), the spice felt overdone. It was as often as five pages apart. And while both of the main characters know that sex doesn't solve problems caused by miscommunication, they constantly use it as a band-aid.
Overall, this installment was amazing and I am excited to see how the series ends.

Definitely enjoyed this one better than the last. The ending was so surprising but overall a good read I enjoyed it. Still absolutely love Hecate and Hermes

I spent the whole time trying to figure out who was who. Obviously this book is part of a series where stuff is explained. Very little plot. No conclusion to anything.
