Enjoyable house party/suspense setting. The main character has some prejudices (antisemitism, homophobia) that he gradually overcomes as the book goes on which makes the beginning fairly uncomfortable since he's the POV character.

So, I have FINALLY read my first KJ Charles: Think of England, and I am duly impressed. The truth is I'm not surprised though, because Ms Charles' reputation doth precede her, but I am still very much in awe of her writing and will be proceeding to read more. Immediately.

Archie Curtis and Daniel da Silva are not the typical couple who fall in love and spend lots of time romancing each other. Nope, they are a different sort: busy with the matter of staying alive while solving a mystery and unearthing criminals who would dare try to get away from facing their deserved punishment. But, in the process, admirable characteristics are displayed, mutual respect is developed, endearing character traits are revealed, physical attraction is acknowledged, deep emotional bonds are forged, all while professional skills are put to work, teamwork is perfected and readers are thoroughly entertained and impressed. In case it's not yet absolutely clear, I am one such reader.

I highly recommend Think of England to anyone who enjoys a good dose of mystery solving with their romance, anyone who adores an intelligent romantic story and certainly for all fans of HR m/m romance. Ms Charles, you have yet another fan!
