Excellent art and panelling aside per usual, I loved how this volume showed the unpleasant aspects of the world that we had seen since volume one- that the book's world whose mores and strict ideas on magic and its use, which are viewed as necessities for peace, completely disregard and even inconvenience those people who are in the margins (ie. in this volume is more prominent in Tartah's disability). Hopefully we get to see more of this themes in future volumes!
